About the Product
The Sync is We-Vibe’s newest addition to their “couples toy” line as it’s designed for PiV (penis in vagina) intercourse. Unlike the Sync’s predecessors, its’ adjustable! The arm between the external vibrator and internal vibrator is flexible allowing for a more comfortable fit. The Sync has two independent motors that have been upgraded resulting in slightly more rumbly vibrations than previous models. Sync has 10 vibration modes that can be controlled directly through the device itself, or by using the remote control which works up to 3 meters from the device. If you’re looking for more remote range, Sync can also be remotely operated via Bluetooth by downloading the We-Connect app which is compatible with most iPhone or Android smartphones. Sync is coated in body-safe silicone and comes in two colors: purple and aqua. If you like sex toy play while showering or taking a bath, no need to hold back as the Sync is 100% waterproof!
Included with the Sync is a wireless remote control, storage case/charging base, USB power cable, user manual, and a packet of We-Vibe lube made by Pjur.
How it works
Powering the Sync is very easy. A power button is located next to the 2 metal contacts on the external vibrating portion. Press and hold the button for a few seconds and Sync comes to life. The various vibration speeds and modes can be changed by pressing the power button again. Or, you can use the included remote control or We-Connect app on your smartphone. The We-Connect app has additional features including the ability to customize patterns, connect from far distances, and has a “Beat mode” which vibrates to the rhythm of your favorite songs. To turn the Sync off, press and hold the power button.
With any adjustable sex toy, there can sometimes be a learning curve involved. You might have to make some adjustments to Sync’s shape through trial and error in order to find the perfect fit. For those with a more plump labia, first try spreading the labia as this may help in making Sync fit comfortably. Once you’ve found the perfect fit, turn on the vibe and get busy together! Also, be sure to use plenty of lube as we’ve found that without lube, there could be some uncomfortable friction against Sync’s internal vibe.
Charging is super easy. To properly charge, simply align the metal charging contacts on the Sync with the matching contacts on the charging dock. It’s very easy to align as the dock itself is contoured so the Sync fits perfectly. Charging takes approximately 2 hours and you can get roughly 1.5 hours of use on a single charge.
With Sync’s waterproof design, it makes cleaning simple. The Sync can be washed with soap and rinsed under hot water. Sync is also toy cleaner safe. It’s always best to let the Sync air dry, but you can also dry with a lint-free cloth. Please remember to ALWAYS clean your toy before using for the first time!
Our Experience
We’ve been using our Sync for several weeks now and have gotten pretty creative since we first started using it. Here’s what we have to say about our experiences…
Robin says: I was a bit skeptical when Liam surprised me with the Sync. After unboxing, I noticed that it was a similar shape as the We-Vibe 4 Plus. Having said that, we’ve used the 4 Plus and it didn’t work so well. I have a thick labia and the 4 Plus just wouldn’t fit properly. Much to my surprise, Liam told me that the Sync was adjustable. I immediately started bending it into several different positions and thought to myself, “Hey, this might work!”
For my first trial, I wanted to get acquainted with Sync by myself before adding Liam to the fun. It didn’t take more than 5 minutes for me to shape the Sync to a perfect fit. Once I inserted and turned it on, I really did notice stronger vibrations in comparison to the 4 Plus. The two individual motors did a superb job of getting me to the brink of an orgasm. To mimic use as a couples toy, I decided to add a dildo to the mix. After applying plenty of lube, I started thrusting with my dildo until I had a super-intense orgasm. At this point I knew that Sync was going to be a lot of fun!
For many of my subsequent trials, Liam was certainly along for the experience. We noticed on each occasion that the internal vibe had a considerable amount of drag against Liam’s penis.
